What is an APK?
APK stands for General Periodic Inspection and is required by law for cars of 3 years and older. The inspection must be carried out every other year and aims to promote road safety and protect the environment.
What is your car inspected for?
The APK inspector checks the brakes, wheel suspension, shock absorbers, tires, steering, lighting and bodywork. In addition, the exhaust gases are tested; petrol and LPG cars are inspected with a 4-gas measurement and diesel cars with a soot measurement.
What does an APK inspection cost

Has my APK expired?
You can easily check this on the RDW website. If this is the case, we advise you to schedule an appointment with us as soon as possible. It is forbidden to drive a vehicle that does not have a valid MOT.
